DPMC constantly provides outstanding training opportunities
for its Dealers and Distributors. These sessions are conducted
by external facilitators who address topics such as customer
service, entrepreneurship, management of funds and merchandising.
The ultimate objectives
of the quality training afforded to our employees, dealers,
distributors and their employees, is to ensure a high level
of service to our customers.
We also provide intensive training to
our dealers both on the job and in our training school at
Madapatha to make them competent in their jobs. Also further
training is given at our Workshop in Colombo. We have extended
this facility to students from various technical schools as
well as local mechanics involved in repairing Bajaj vehicles
with the intention of enhancing their capabilities to provide
a better service to all our customers. The training department
together with the Vehicle Sales Department also conducts user
awareness sessions to our customers at locations convenient
to them to educate them on various technical disciplines,
traffic regulations etc.
Annually the company sponsors a minimum
of 4 Service Dealers selected after evaluation on various
aspects, for training and plant visit to Bajaj Auto Limited
India. Apart from the training obtained they are provided
with all the comforts in Star Class hotels to make their journeys
memorable.
